The brace
How does Stridez help with foot drop?
Stridez's slim shell runs behind your ankle and under your foot, and the padded dial strap locks it to your lower leg. That holds your foot at a natural angle, so when you lift your leg your toes come up with it instead of dragging or catching.
What's in the box?
One Stridez brace for the side you choose (left or right). Socks and shoes are not included. We recommend wearing Stridez over your own sock for comfort.
Who is Stridez for?
Adults with mild to moderate foot drop, including after a stroke, a nerve injury or back surgery, or with MS or neuropathy. It's especially popular with golfers and tennis and pickleball players who want to stay in the game.
Is Stridez right for severe foot drop?
If your ankle is rigid, very unstable or can't be moved by hand, a custom AFO prescribed by your doctor may be a better choice.
Can I wear it all day?
Yes. Start with an hour or two a day and build up as you get used to it.
Fit & shoes
What shoes work with Stridez?
Most closed shoes with a little room: sneakers, walking shoes, golf shoes and tennis or pickleball shoes. Wear it over your own sock (not included). Not for sandals or tight dress shoes.
How do I choose my size?
Go by your usual US shoe size using our size guide. Between sizes, choose the larger one. Size swaps are free.
Left or right?
Each brace is made for one side. Choose the side that needs support. Need both? Buy 2 and save 20%.
How do I put it on?
Rest your foot on the footplate, wrap the padded strap around your lower leg and turn the dial until it feels snug. Press the dial to release. About a minute.
